Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire seeks a Team Lead for Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance to coordinate risk management, policy development, and regulatory compliance across USNH services and operations.

You will oversee policy drafting, risk assessments of third-party products, and awareness programs to support the CISO and CIO, with a focus on standards aligned to NIST CSF and regulatory requirements (CMMC, FERPA, GLBA, HIPAA, PCI DSS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/cybersecurity with four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience across cybersecurity domains and ability to discuss controls and risk.
• Knowledge of or experience with IT contingency planning (disaster recovery/business continuity, incident response).

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish cybersecurity policies and standards aligned with NIST CSF and NIST 800-53/800-171.
• Coordinate policy reviews with stakeholders and monitor ongoing policy lifecycle.
