Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise security technologies. The role focuses on SSE, Zero Trust, and Zscaler while coordinating across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on troubleshooting with leadership, owning complex problems from architecture to production handoff and driving measurable improvements across multiple domains.

Competenze

• SSE/SASE and Zero Trust experience in enterprise security environments.
• Strong Zscaler experience: ZIA, ZPA, ZCC, ZDX and related components.
• Solid networking fundamentals and log/packet analysis skills.
• Experience leading security implementations from design through handoff.

Mansioni

• Own complex security projects from architecture to implementation and handoff.
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, network, cloud, identity, and endpoint teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive automation and reliable operations.
