As a senior technical leader, you will mentor peers, influence design decisions, and ensure secure, high-performance solutions across GEICO’s tech stack and platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in tech lead architecture and design roles.
• 3+ years building with open-source frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity program strategy and design decisions.
• Lead the development and delivery of security solutions for Vulnerability Management.
• Deliver automation initiatives and proofs of concept to improve security capabilities.
• Drive security outcomes through DevSecOps and scalable architectures.
• Develop and maintain multilevel cybersecurity designs, policies, and procedures.
• Offer secure design guidance to developers, infra teams, and product engineers.
• Mentor peers and educate partner teams on engineering-first security approaches.
• Demonstrate value of security measures with practical, business-focused communications.
