Kentro is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support NGA Vertex Information Technology Services Task Order. The onsite role is based in Springfield, VA, and focuses on developing and maintaining an ISSP, policies, and security documentation for up to 16 SPIDS, with routine compliance and incident response responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have DoDI 8570.01-M / DoDD 8140.01 Level II certification, risk management and vulnerability management experience, and strong communication of

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science preferred.
• 5+ years of related field experience or equivalent.
• DoD/IC systems security experience a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain an IS security program (ISSP) per NGA/OCIO policies for up to 16 SPIDs.
• Conduct periodic SSP reviews and compliance checks within established windows.
• Manage configuration, documentation, and updates to security controls and AO/DAO notifications.
• Coordinate IS security inspections, tests, and incident reporting with IX and GPOC teams.
• Provide security engineering input to project documentation and lifecycle phases.
