Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to lead and implement RMF-based security solutions for USAF SAP cloud initiatives. You will assess vulnerabilities, design controls, and guide teams across complex environments, including classified systems and DoD partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration, advanced threat detection, and hands-on problem solving with tools like Palo Alto, Cisco, and Splunk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience implementing NIST RMF.
• 3+ years of experience providing leadership as an ISSO or ISSM.
• Experience writing or reviewing RMF artifacts for ATO packages.
• Experience analyzing compliance and vulnerability scan results, and implementing mitigations.
• Experience supporting network servers, devices, or protocols.
• Experience using SEIM tools such as Splunk or Elastic.
• Experience interfacing with internal and external SMEs such as PMs, SCAs, and AOs.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships quickly with teams, communicating security complexities to diverse audiences.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including detection and vulnerability capabilities.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and security events to identify threats.
