Cinteot Inc. is seeking a Forescout Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard our IT infrastructure and strengthen detection capabilities in a collaborative team. You will manage cybersecurity controls and contribute to incident detection and response workflows.

Qualified candidates have TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certifications, and a strong background in Windows/Linux admin, IP networking, and enterprise security architectures. This is a full-time on-site role in Virginia.

Qualifications

5+ years of systems administration for Windows or Linux.
Experience architecting IP networks and documenting topologies.
Knowledge of data center, WAN, and LAN in virtualized environments.
TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility.
Degrees: Associate 5+ yrs, Bachelor 3+ yrs, Master 1+ yrs; experience may substitute for degree.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND).
Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships quickly with teams and senior management, communicating security complexities to varied audiences.
Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and event correlation in large enterprises.
Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas using big data analytics.
