Aprio is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to own the health of security domains across identity, network, and cloud platforms. You will lead cross-team initiatives, design control patterns, and drive secure deployments with a focus on audit-ready evidence and automation.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, collaborating with Cloud Ops and SOC, and contributing to architecture standards while advancing a proactive security posture across the firm’s tech stack.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in security engineering with hands-on control implementations across identity, network, cloud, and monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Own the operation health of one or two engineering domains (identity, network/segmentation, cloud security baselines).
• Lead cross-team initiatives spanning Security, IT, Identity, Cloud Operations, and delivery teams with controlled rollouts.
• Design new control patterns and reference architectures, writing runbooks, standards, and decision records.
• Drive end-to-end deployment of new control sets (EDR, cloud account hardening, logging pipelines).
• Mentor Mid and Associate engineers, provide design reviews and code/config reviews.
• Collaborate with Cloud Ops, Identity, ITSM, GRC, and SOC as the security engineering subject matter expert.
• Support detection/response engineering with logging coverage, telemetry quality, and secure tooling.
• Produce control evidence and architecture documentation for audits and peer reviews.
• Push for automation and policy-as-code to codify controls.
