Base-2 Solutions is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, and DevSecOps environments. You will lead incident response planning, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with IT, development, and compliance teams to enforce security controls.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• 7+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer focused on security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption).
• Conduct regular security assessments of systems, networks, and applications.
• Develop and implement incident response plans for security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor logs and alerts to detect and respond to incidents.
• Analyze anomalies and investigate security breaches to mitigate risk.
• Integrate security into development lifecycle and maintain documentation.
