Job summary

NetSEA Technologies in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer II (Senior) to serve as the primary technical liaison for ECCOS CSSP activities, coordinating SLAs, the CSSP Working Group, and ensuring proactive compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

You will mentor junior team members, interact with Government stakeholders, and support RMF/ATO lifecycle documentation, including SSPs and POA&M mappings, in an on-site, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 10+ years of cybersecurity/network engineering in DoD or federal environments
• Active DoD 8140-aligned certification (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, CASP+)
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility or TS/SCI within ~90 days
• U.S. citizenship required
• Experience with RMF/ATO, eMASS, and DoD frameworks

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary System Owner interface for cybersecurity alignment across Mission Delta 6 space systems
• Coordinate SLAs between CSSP team and system owners, tracking status
• Participate in and drive the CSSP Working Group to resolve alignment issues
• Develop and maintain the Cybersecurity Alignment Plan and documentation
• Apply Zero Trust Architecture to security across User/Ground/Space segments
• Support eMASS/RMF lifecycle documentation (SSPs, SARs, POA&M)
• Mentor CSSP team members and provide technical direction
• Represent NetSEA in discussions with Government Program Manager and COR
• Support Contingency Operations Plan and mission coverage as Tier 1
