Job summary

Credence in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support PM PNT. The role emphasizes RMF, ISSE guidance, and collaboration with vendors to strengthen system security across lifecycles.

Responsibilities include documentation, RMF activities, and security controls. The candidate must hold CISSP and DoD IAM Level I baseline certifications; TS/SCI eligibility is preferred for this key government program.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field with DoD IT experience or 11 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Significant ISSO, RMF, and eMASS experience supporting DoD/Army programs.
• Meets IAM Level I baseline cert requirements and CISSP certification.
• Hands-on RMF, eMASS, STIGs, and ACAS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classified and unclassified cybersecurity inputs and IA documentation per DoDI and AR regulations.
• Lead RMF activities, POA&M updates, and package currency for PM PNT.
• Serve as cybersecurity lead for CM and review ECPs.
• Coordinate testing activities and provide ISSE recommendations to vendors.
• Draft and maintain acquisition documentation and support security controls implementations.
