Clarity Innovations seeks a mid-level Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will guide cybersecurity policy, RMF implementation, and certification efforts across product development and DoD compliance.

The role requires DoD network experience, leadership, and the ability to advise development teams on security controls and risk mitigation, with opportunities to influence secure engineering practices and meet DoD standards.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with DoD network engineering/management
• Minimum 3 years specified work in Cyber Security
• Must hold DoD 8140/8570 certification level: IAT II or IAT III
• Must hold at least one of CASP+, AWS Security, CCSP, CSSLP (or Associate of ISC2) or equivalent security certification
• Knowledge of Unix, DevSecOps, web application security, web application modernization, AWS cloud security, and DoD/U.S. Air Force RMF policies/practices
• Must be eligible to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Must be able to lead a team and set priorities; provide guidance for compliance
• Must conduct themselves professionally and be a team player

Responsabilidades

• Advises application teams on security implications of software modifications and ensures integration of security measures
• Documents proposed and actual changes and recommends mitigation plans
• Conducts security engineering analyses including vulnerability and risk assessments
• Assesses effectiveness of security controls to ensure compliance with DoD standards
• Evaluates applications for security risks and proposes policy/standards improvements
• Reviews architectures and data flows to identify security deficiencies and validate changes
• Participates in customer meetings and contributes to security policy and remediation discussions
• Supports security architecture design and control evaluation for product development
• Shares best practices and technical knowledge across teams
