Sandisk is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, assessment, and continuous improvement of our security posture with a focus on protecting and hardening the external attack surface. This role blends strategic architecture with hands-on engineering, partnering with cross‑functional teams while driving key security initiatives and AI threat mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity.
• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
• Certifications such as CISSP/OSCP/CEH/GIAC are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, assessment, and monitoring of the external attack surface.
• Design and implement controls to reduce exposure and improve resilience.
• Oversee penetration testing with third parties and oversee remediation.
• Build and mature vulnerability management programs with prioritization workflows.
• Support automated security initiatives across CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
