Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to secure the software development lifecycle across water-sector software. You’ll embed security, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure resilient applications in cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate with engineering to monitor, detect, and respond to threats, conducting advanced incident response and threat intelligence to strengthen security posture nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop rules to detect threats.
• Lead incident response for complex events including forensics.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments and tests.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with development teams; enforce secure coding in SDLC.
• Review security controls and lead remediation per frameworks.
• Research threat actors and develop defense strategies.
• Mentor junior analysts and build team capability.
• Align security strategies with enterprise objectives.
