Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Arlington is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security architecture that protects IT, OT, and cloud infrastructure across on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments.

You will lead threat modeling, develop secure design patterns, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and ISO 27000 series while collaborating with IT, engineering, operations, and third‑party vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity or security architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud security in Azure and AWS.
• Experience with NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and ISO 27000.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and encryption technologies.
• Ability to lead security design reviews across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security architectures protecting IT and OT.
• Develop security reference architectures and secure design patterns.
• Conduct architecture and security design reviews for multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure cybersecurity controls are integrated into development and deployment processes.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Maintain security standards, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, operations, and vendors to embed security into technology initiatives.
