Job summary

Sutter Health seeks a senior cybersecurity leader in a hybrid Sacramento role to guide security strategy across domains, deliver advanced protection of information systems, networks, and data, and strengthen resilience for patient care and business operations.

You will mentor teams, develop security metrics and executive dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive risk reduction, compliance, and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity programs including vulnerability management, threat intelligence, data protection, DLP, and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity leadership to protect information systems, networks, data and digital assets across units.
• Deliver advanced security operations including monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and risk management.
• Develop security metrics and executive dashboards to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve regulatory compliance and risk posture.
• Mentor team members and drive program maturity and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to enhance resilience.
