Job summary

Request Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced security engineer to monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents. You will use threat intel feeds, collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations, and develop new detection rules.

The role requires 6+ years of related experience and relevant certifications. You will maintain and configure security tools, document processes, and act as SME for incident responses to raise the organization’s security program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience
• CompTIA Security+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals or Security Essentials Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne)
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm, Exabeam, Google SecOps) including event analysis, log collection/management, alert generation, investigations, and reporting
• Azure cloud modules (e.g., Sentinel, Defender, Entra, Identity, Key Vault)
• Endpoint security technologies/agents (e.g., web proxy, DLP, CASB)
• Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms (preferred)
• Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), firewalls, content filtering, and vulnerability scanning/management solutions (preferred)
