Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Cyber Vulnerability Researcher in the United States to support tools and products for cyber vulnerability research across applications, operating systems, hardware, and networks. The role offers flexible remote and/or office work with strong career growth opportunities.

You will mentor engineers, evaluate third-party capabilities with open source and proprietary tools, and craft emulated threat scenarios using Python/Scapy, Caldera, and Metasploit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of professional experience.
• TS/SCI is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to provide critical analysis and review of test plans, test results, and documentation.
• Ability to learn, adapt, develop, test, and troubleshoot at all application and operating system layers.
• Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with technical team members, managers and customers.
• Scripting and software development using Python/Java/C++.
• Proficiency with Linux and command line environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Rocky).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, KVM, Proxmox).

Responsibilities

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

$112,200.00 - $196,400.00
