Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Direct threat hunting experience in an enterprise environment.
• Four+ years in a technical role within SOC/IR/Threat Intelligence for Threat Hunter II.
• Six+ years in a technical role within SOC/IR/Threat Intelligence for Threat Hunter III.
• Three years hands-on experience with production security toolsets (EDR/MDR/XDR, etc.).
• Knowledge of security principles and pursuit of advanced security certs (CISM, CISSP or equivalent).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and security tools.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for threats or vulnerabilities in the network and correlate data to uncover techniques.
• Coordinate with threat intelligence analysts on emerging threats affecting the environment.
• Assist in development of protective/detective queries for near real-time detection.
• Advise on tools, techniques, or policies to strengthen SOC posture across enterprise and ICS environments.
• Provide timely cross-platform support in response to security threats.
