Senior Cyber Test Engineer

As a Senior Cyber Test Engineer in the CodeX division, you will work with our high-visibility CNO development team to make a direct positive impact on customer needs and mission. You will be accountable for verifying the consistency and quality of our products and will be actively involved throughout the entire development process.

Responsibilities

• Engage internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and react to mission needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of the tools, systems, and frameworks used by the customer, and integrate them with various technologies to build a real‑world test environment.
• Create test plans, build and maintain custom test frameworks, and generate thorough documentation.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance is required.
• Technical leadership experience in leading small teams.
• 3+ years test engineering or related experience.
• 3+ years experience with offensive cyber operations.
• 3+ years experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language.
• 3+ years experience working on Linux/Unix systems.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interface with customers, end‑users, technical leads, and program management.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience building test automation frameworks.
• Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies.
• Ability to think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies.
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as Docker.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000-163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
