Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Cyber Test Engineer to strengthen the CODEX division, driving verification across the development lifecycle and ensuring mission-aligned system requirements.

You will develop deep understanding of customer tools and frameworks, build test plans, and contribute to documentation and automation, leveraging Python, Bash, and Linux proficiency. A strong communicator with a security mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance is required
• Technical leadership experience in leading small teams
• 5 years test engineering or related experience
• 5 years experience with offensive cyber operations
• 3 year of experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language
• 3 year of experience working on Linux/Unix systems
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving
• Ability to interface with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management

Responsibilities

• Verify the consistency and quality of our products throughout the development process.
• Engage with internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and respond to mission needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of tools, systems, and frameworks used by the customer and integrate them with various technologies to build a real-world test environment and create a test plan.
• Build and maintain custom test frameworks and generate thorough documentation.
