Job summary

Qualifications

• 11+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• BA/BS (or equivalent experience) required.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain security assurance processes.
• Familiarity with Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) processes.
• Provide advanced guidance to cybersecurity personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements and analyzes the results.
• Performs assessments of systems and networks and identifies deviations from policies.
• Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth against known vulnerabilities.
• Establishes program control processes to mitigate risks and supports certification and accreditation.
• Supports government policy implementation (NISPOM, DCID 6/3) and tailors processes as needed.
• Performs analyses to validate security requirements and recommends safeguards.
• Supports formal ST&E activities through pre-test prep, participation, analysis, and reporting.
• Periodically reviews system audits and closes corrective actions.
• Provides advanced guidance to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.
• May serve as a team or task leader (not a people manager).
