Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer Staff (SE3) to join a team protecting critical national assets. You will collaborate with PMO, engineers, and government teams to define and deliver systems meeting DoD architecture and security standards.

The role requires a strong background in software deployments, Linux, containers, cloud, and DevSecOps, plus active polygraph and DoD8570‑compliant certification. A competitive package and sign-on potential are offered in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 20 years of equivalent experience required.
• Active Polygraph in the last 7 years required.
• DoD8570‑compliant cert (Security+ or CISSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with PMO for schedule and milestone status; provide risk assessment/escalation.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer on solution development for compliance and best practices.
• Draft and maintain system engineering documentation (SEPs, ICDs, etc.).
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements for DoDAF/SOA architecture alignment.
• Define system/component scope with requirements, designs, interfaces, tests, etc.
