Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to contribute to the Cyber Resiliency team supporting the Rotary and Mission Systems division. The role emphasizes hardening, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, RMF/C&A activities, and collaboration with ISSO and government stakeholders.

The position requires related advanced degrees or experience and a DoD Secret clearance eligibility with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Related Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 3+ year or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.
• Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
• Ability to obtain an Secret DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.
• Ability to travel up to 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
• Conducting vulnerability scans
• Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
• Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
• Implementing security updates and patches
• Applying configuration changes to ESS and ACAS security tools
• Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
• Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
• Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
