Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Architect to drive enterprise engineering strategy and modernize mission platforms. You will provide authoritative oversight over development teams, shape architectural direction, and ensure secure execution aligned with government objectives.

You will lead design reviews, CI/CD improvements, and deployment automation while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Network Eng and 8 years in cyber software engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years leading technical initiatives across multiple projects.
• Expert in C, C++, Go, Java, Python and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Git/GitLab experience with automated CI/CD for restricted environments.
• Docker and IaC (Ansible, Vagrant); virtualization with vSphere/ESXi.
• Deep OS internals knowledge (Linux/Windows/Android) and network analysis.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise engineering standards, secure coding, and automated validation across teams.
• Direct CI/CD adoption, testing frameworks, and secure workflows to reduce technical debt.
• Architect and evolve mission systems for scalability, resilience, and modernization.
• Lead development of analysis engines and deployment environments using containers and IaC.
• Mentor engineers via design reviews and structured technical development.
• Drive continuous improvement of code quality and secure engineering discipline.
• Act as liaison to government customers and internal leadership on technical plans.
• align technical execution with mission objectives, timelines, and risk profiles.
• Collaborate with Product Lead to align roadmap with evolving priorities.
