Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Cyber Strategy practice. You will evaluate cybersecurity programs, design governance and operating models, and translate risk into practical business actions across industries.

You’ll lead assessments, run stakeholder interviews, prepare executive-level deliverables, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with EY colleagues to drive transformation for clients.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Risk Management or related field with ~3–5 years of experience; or a graduate degree with 2–4 years of experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments and maturity evaluations, governance, risk management, and policy development.
• Knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy and transformation engagements for clients.
• Conduct assessments, stakeholder interviews, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develop target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
• Prepare client deliverables, executive presentations, and management reports.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development.
