Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Cyber Software Developer to solve challenging problems in a fast-paced environment supporting national security. You will design, develop, and deliver cyber tools, leveraging RE and VR skills to support defensive and offensive missions.

You will mentor junior personnel and contribute to shaping the future of national cyber capabilities while working with a team of researchers and stakeholders to meet mission goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cyber software development experience.
• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
• 3+ years in C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Swift.
• 3+ years developing cyber tools for offensive or defensive missions.
• 3+ years with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, Jeb, Frida, Windbg).
• 3+ years analyzing iOS, Android, Windows, or embedded OS kernel modules.
• Strong knowledge of OS internals, memory management, and low-level systems programming.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong written and oral communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy production-quality cyber tools and software capabilities to meet mission-critical customer requirements.
• Apply expertise in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development to guide high-level software design decisions.
• Build and maintain operational tooling that supports both defensive and offensive cyber missions.
• Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate complex research findings into functional, scalable software.
• Lead code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and ensure software quality through rigorous testing and documentation.
• Synthesize creative technical solutions from diverse operational and technical information sources.
• Identify and communicate operational requirements with internal and external stakeholders to align technical output with mission goals.
