Job summary

a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Software Analyst to support the Reagan Test Site (RTS) Engineering and Technical Services program in Huntsville, AL.

The role involves software assurance, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessment for ballistic/missile tests and space situational awareness operations. The analyst will work with the RTS Government ISSM and senior staff, analyze code with tools like Fortify/Checkmarx, and help ensure compliance with NIST RMF and DoD controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity/software assurance with 3+ years in cyber/software assurance.
• Mastery of SAST/DAST/SCA tools and tuning to reduce false positives.
• Strong understanding of RMF/ATO processes and NIST SP 800-53/800-161.
• DoD IAM/IAT Level II or III requirements; CISSP/CSSLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source code and binaries to identify vulnerabilities and CWEs.
• Perform cyber assurance tasks per NIST RMF and DoD guidance.
• Produce detailed remediation reports and work with developers.
• Research and report on emerging software assurance tools.
• Support incident response and risk assessments for RTS mission systems.
• Validate SW STIGs and assist with RMF/ATO readiness.
