Job summary

Searchability Aerospace & Defense is seeking cyber security engineers to protect the nation’s most sensitive systems for direct U.S. Government customers, including the NSA.

This role requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and offers opportunities to influence cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will design, implement, automate, and maintain security controls across security architecture, engineering, automation, vulnerability management, and risk reduction, while

Qualifications

• Must have cybersecurity/security engineering experience in complex IT environments.
• Experience implementing and evaluating security controls.
• Vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and remediation experience.
• Security hardening of Linux, Windows, cloud, or networked systems.
• Knowledge of layered security and defense-in-depth principles.
• Understanding of Risk Management Framework processes.
• Ability to communicate security risks to technical and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, automate, and maintain layered security capabilities for classified government systems and networks.
• Work with system owners, developers, DevOps teams, and government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into security solutions.
• Evaluate architectures, recommend improvements, integrate controls, and assess protection against threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security hardening, DevSecOps integration, and security monitoring.
• Support incident response and ensure compliance with government security standards.
