SHINE Systems in Reston, Virginia seeks an Expert Cyber Security Engineer to refine security requirements and ensure they are integrated into IT products and systems through deliberate security architecture, design, development, and configuration.

Responsibilities include leading design efforts, conducting research and AoA activities, translating laws and regulations into secure architectures, and guiding contractors at Senior/Mid/Junior levels to deliver enterprise security solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or 18+ years in Cyber Security engineering.
• 18+ years of government or industry Cyber Security experience.
• DoD 8570 Level II (IASAE) certification compliance.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and poly.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of information security architectures and requirements.
• Oversee cybersecurity activities across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into lifecycle.
• Guide junior engineers and coordinate security efforts across projects.
• Perform security research and support AoA activities to identify solutions.
