American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls protecting our systems, data, and infrastructure. The role requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and collaboration across teams.

You will deploy security tools such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and DLP, help define standards, respond to incidents, and contribute to a security-first culture across a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Cyber Security
• CISSP/CEH/GSEC/CSSP or equivalent
• Curiosity and passion for problem solving
• Fluent in English
• Collaborative with multicultural teams
• Experience building analytics and data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across enterprise systems and networks
• Deploy and maintain security technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Proxy, and endpoint protection
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure to ensure high availability and effectiveness
• Estimate technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks, and dependencies
• Respond to incidents and provide long-term remediation solutions
• Develop and promote design guidelines and standards
