Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across enterprise systems and networks. You will deploy WAFs, SIEM, DLP, and other protection tools while ensuring high availability.

You will work with CyberSecurity Architects and cross-functional teams to improve the organization’s security posture, analyze incidents, and document procedures. Fluency in English and 5+ years in security are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cyber security engineering or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent such as CISSP, CEH, GSEC, CSSP).
• Fluent in English and collaborative, inclusive mindset.
• Experience building real-time analytics and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across enterprise systems and networks.
• Deploy and maintain security technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Proxy, and endpoint protection tools.
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with CyberSecurity Architects and teams on planning and implementation.
• Respond to incidents and document standard operating procedures.
