Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced Cyber Risk professional to support the Card line by consulting on third party risk from a cyber lens. You will partner with Card leaders and risk teams to influence decisions and elevate security in vendor processes.

You will analyze risk, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive improvements that reduce exposure while maintaining business relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
• 2+ years of experience guiding security concepts and risk assessments.
• Experience in regulated environments and with risk oversight.

Responsibilities

• Act as central Information Security contact to identify and mitigate Third Party risk in Card line.
• Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proactively identify information security risk and partner to reduce Third Party risk.
• Coordinate proactive consulting to internal and external teams on third party risk.
• Support business projects and influence decisions with secure practices.
• Provide updates to executive leadership on Third Party risk health.
