Job summary

Referentia Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Analyst to apply expertise in cyber risk assessments for DoD Enterprise systems under the guidance of the Security Control Assessor (SCA).

This role requires onsite work in Hampton, VA, and demands strong knowledge of system security, networking, and RMF processes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cyber risk assessment, DoD AFNET experience, and IAM II/III certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field required
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
• Master’s degree is preferred
• IAM Level II/III Certification in accordance with DoD baseline certifications required
• At least 10 years of experience in cyber risk assessment or DoD AFNET technologies
• Familiarization with NIST SP 800-53, AFI 17-130 and DODI 8510.01
• Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
• Onsite work in Hampton, VA; DoD security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Determine system vulnerabilities and residual risk based on analysis of artifacts, interviews, and current state
• Evaluate effectiveness of proposed mitigations
• Provide recommendations to leadership on technical and policy changes
• Collaborate with Cyber Analysts, SMEs, and SCA-Rs to complete assessments on time and with quality
• Train new team members and develop training materials for field personnel to support RMF processes
• Support program requirements elicitation and independent research
• Assist Operations Manager/Task Lead with program execution and deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned
