Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to own enterprise cyber risk assessment work within the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. This senior individual contributor role evaluates decisions across the enterprise and communicates risk to leadership in business terms to inform accept, mitigate, or remediate actions.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years with a Master’s.
• Experience in enterprise risk management and in third-party or vendor cyber risk assessment.
• Current Security+ or an equivalent industry certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• U.S. Remote-Telework role; must reside within the United States to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments of activities and operational decisions across the enterprise.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in clear, decision-ready terms.
• Take lead on cyber risk reviews across a range of assessment types (third-party risk, temporary risk acceptance, software risk).
• Work with Compliance to ensure consistent risk treatment across frameworks.
• Evaluate cyber risk implications of technology decisions (networking, cloud, endpoint, identity).
• Articulate when residual cyber risk exceeds appetite and specify required reductions.
• Improve risk postures and risk reporting processes across the GR&C function.
• Maintain knowledge of cyber risk, threat landscape, and regulatory changes.
