Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency at Fort Meade, MD seeks a Senior IT Project Manager within the Cyber Excepted Service to support missions of US Cyber Command. The role concentrates on leading IT project activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in reviewing IT-related work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards.
• Strong customer service experience, building relationships and tailoring IT products/services to meet needs.
• Excellent oral communication: briefing management and IT staff, translating technical info for non-technical audiences.
• Problem solving: identify alternatives and apply information from diverse sources to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member on Crisis Action Team, Joint Planning Group and Readiness Team.
• Communicate complex technical data to diverse audiences, both written and verbal.
• Identify requirements, develop and implement project plans, coordinate activities, manage resources, and review projects.
• Develop status reports, policies, schedules, requirements, briefings, white papers and results for customer projects; serve as liaison from customers to DISA.
• Manage and develop Continuity of Operations Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Advise on Strategic Defense Programs in support of Missile Defense Agency; advise on network requirements and performance.
