Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Senior Tier II-III Incident Response Analyst to lead investigations, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate responses for high-impact cybersecurity events affecting client systems nationwide. The role requires a strong background in incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence, with US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Senior-level experience in incident response, forensics, or threat intelligence.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, and forensic tools.
• Knowledge of federal incident reporting requirements and NIST SP 800-86.
• Ability to lead investigations and brief stakeholders.
• U.S. citizen required.
• Security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced incident investigations and escalated security events.
• Perform deep-dive forensic analysis and malware analysis.
• Coordinate response actions for threats and intrusions.
• Conduct APT hunting and CTI dissemination.
• Support evidence handling and chain of custody.
• Provide QA on incident closure and after-action reports.
• Assist SOC engineering with monitoring gaps and detection improvements.
