Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Senior to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events. You will focus on post-incident response, assess impacted data, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, guide notification and regulatory obligations, and help drive improvements in processes and controls. Travel may be required, with a hybrid EY work model supporting client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, Engineering, cybersecurity or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy consulting, cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response; ability to digest threat intelligence for client engagements.
• Understanding of privacy and data protection regulations, including notification and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to pursue related professional certifications (GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCIM).
• Ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation; driver’s license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end breach response engagements after containment and forensics.
• Conduct assessment of impacted data to determine exposure of sensitive information.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, forensic, compliance, and client teams.
• Assist clients on notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Review data, perform impact assessments, and support decision-making for affected individuals/organizations.
• Contribute to remediation planning and process improvements.
