Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a cybersecurity professional to coordinate incident response across IT and OT, prioritize threats, and drive timely resolution. You will document findings, produce risk-based recommendations, and deliver executive-level threat analyses to strengthen our security posture.

The role requires 5–7 years in security operations with strong analytics, knowledge of NIST frameworks, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in security operations or similar roles with incident response and threat intel.
• Knowledge of attacker methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF and NIST SP 800-61.
• Certifications such as SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or CASP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cyber security incidents in IT and OT environments and guide response efforts.
• Assess threats, prioritize, escalate, and drive incident resolution.
• Document investigations with root cause, containment, and remediation recommendations.
• Provide real-time insight into intelligence for Cybersecurity & Infrastructure.
• Create bulletins and analyses of vulnerabilities impacting the organization.
• Research industry threats and provide executive reports and preventative controls.
• Enhance understanding of threats’ impact on users, data, and assets.
• Help mature CTI capabilities, processes, and platforms.
