Job summary

ShorePoint is seeking a Senior Cyber Forensic Analyst to lead advanced digital forensics and incident response across complex environments. You will support threat hunting, triage, forensic analysis and reporting for government stakeholders and ISSOs, while developing playbooks and improving capabilities.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate degree may substitute for six years), and U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; postgraduate degree may substitute for 6 years of experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate into actionable tasks and processes.
• U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced digital forensic examinations across endpoint, server, network, cloud, application, removable-media and logs.
• Collect, preserve, validate, analyze and document digital evidence with evidentiary integrity.
• Reconstruct incident timelines and identify attacker activity and data exfiltration indicators.
• Lead forensic support for complex incident response activities including scoping, containment and eradication.
• Conduct proactive threat-hunting using endpoint, network, identity and security-event data.
• Produce clear technical reports and executive summaries for government stakeholders and ISSEs.
