Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a seasoned Cyber Engineer to design and implement cybersecurity engineering solutions across complex networks, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory cyber requirements. You will mentor teammates and support risk mitigation activities.

The role emphasizes RMF/A&A, vulnerability management, and scripting to automate security processes, with a focus on DoD standards and secure architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with cybersecurity engineering
• 5+ years of experience implementing RMF controls, STIGs, secure architectures, or cyber‑hardening efforts
• Experience using eMASS or GRC platforms to document security controls, manage RMF artifacts, track POA&M, and support authorization activities
• Experience performing or supporting vulnerability management, including ACAS or Nessus scanning, vulnerability analysis, remediation, mitigation, and validation
• Experience supporting DoW cybersecurity compliance and continuous monitoring
• Experience with scripting or automation, including PowerShell and Python, and enterprise cybersecurity technologies such as ACAS or Nessus, SCAP, SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability management
• Knowledge of DoW RMF, A&A processes, NIST SP 800-53, defense STIGs, and DoW cybersecurity policies and standards
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or Engineering
• Security+ Certification
