Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) seeks a Senior Cyber Engineer to serve as the senior DevSecOps security architect for the federal enterprise. You will design automated security controls, harden cloud-native infrastructure, and enforce Zero Trust across platforms, networks, and endpoints.

Responsibilities include integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, driving vulnerability automation and threat modeling, and translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical engineering

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required for this federal role.
• Active Top Secret clearance at time of application is required or candidates must be eligible to obtain SCI access.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement security gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure Cloud & Container Infrastructure focused on Azure, AKS, Terraform.
• Lead Zero Trust architectures across platforms and endpoints.
• Automate vulnerability management with SAST/DAST/SCA tools.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for new capabilities.
• Provide SME security guidance to product and engineering leadership.
• Drive security observability with SIEM, logging, and reporting.
