Job summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP's Cloud Cyber Services team is seeking a Cyber Senior Consultant to advance DevSecOps and Secure SDLC across client engagements. You will coordinate with stakeholders, design security controls, and drive secure-by-design initiatives within complex cloud environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, threat modeling, and guiding junior practitioners while delivering high-quality executive deliverables and reusable assets.

Qualifications

• By education, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• 4+ years in DevSecOps, App Security, Secure SDLC, Cloud Security, cyber engineering, or consulting.
• 2+ years hands-on in DevSecOps, App Sec, Secure SDLC, or Secure-by-Design.
• 1+ year leading or owning a cybersecurity or DevSecOps project workstream.
• 2+ years in CI/CD or modern software environments with at least 3 security capabilities (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets, IaC, container, API, vulnerability mgmt).
• 1+ year translating cybersecurity policies into technical controls or SDLC workflows.
• Experience applying at least 1 cybersecurity framework (NIST/ISO/OWASP) on a project.
• 1+ year in cloud or cloud-native environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
• 1+ year using engineering/security platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Execute DevSecOps and Secure SDLC workstreams across assessments, design, implementation, testing, and operation.
• Assess current-state security across people, processes, technology, governance; identify gaps and roadmaps.
• Design and implement Secure-by-Design processes across the SDLC, including risk, reviews, threat modeling, and go-live governance.
• Support integration of security tooling, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities into CI/CD and workflows.
• Perform cloud-native and software supply chain security assessments and define remediation actions.
• Facilitate workshops, prepare technical/executive deliverables, track plans/risks, mentor juniors, and contribute to proposals.
