Job summary

MANTECH in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Analyst to lead advanced incident response efforts and guide senior technical decisions.

This role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph active and 7+ years in cyber security, plus IAT Level II at start and CSSP-IR within 30 days. You will coordinate enterprise responses, analyze threats, and publish actionable reports to strengthen mission-critical security postures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years IT experience preferred.
• 7+ years of cyber experience.
• IAT Level II certification required at start.
• CSSP-IR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Leading incident response efforts and coordinating documentation, work efforts, and resources.
• Coordinating enterprise incident response efforts and command and control functions.
• Providing detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks and intrusions.
• Characterizing and analyzing network traffic and system data to identify threats.
• Writing and publishing cyber incident reports detailing findings and mitigations.
• Developing and documenting incident response guidance, processes, and procedures.
• Acting as a lead professional and managing the work of others to ensure complete systems meeting requirements.
• Recommending and implementing process and policy improvements.
