Freedom Technology Solutions Group in Denver, CO seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to protect digital infrastructure across 24x7 operations. You will detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats while coordinating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold 5+ years in information security, an active IAT Level II cert, and strong Windows/Linux experience. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years IT/cyber experience.
• 5+ years in Information Systems Security or related cyber.
• Active IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security).
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and understanding of databases.
• Experience with COTS technologies and current Cybersecurity protocols used in CSOC.
• Experience working across teams to drive a security agenda and manage complex, intertwined projects.

Responsibilities

• Providing detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks, intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
• Characterizing and performing analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources.
• Performing security event and incident correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise.
• Executing cyber incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact while identifying specific vulnerabilities.
• Tracking and documenting cyber incidents from initial detection through final resolution and remediation.
• Analyzing and assessing damage to data and infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents and performing trend analysis.
• Operating in a 24x7 Shift Work environment to ensure complete and functioning systems meet all requirements.
• Clearance: An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
