Overview

As a Senior Cyber Data Software Engineer (ISE), you’ll be a key contributor on an experienced Agile data engineering team focused on building data-driven cybersecurity solutions. Your work will involve designing and developing scalable data pipelines and integrations that support critical metrics and analytics across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS platforms. You’ll collaborate with product leaders to ensure engineering efforts align with business priorities—writing, testing, deploying, and maintaining custom code and integrations that make cybersecurity data accessible and actionable. By improving how data flows through our systems, you’ll help uncover insights that strengthen the bank’s overall security posture.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to good data engineering and handling practices.
• Exercise SOLID coding design.
• Prepare and run automated tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as story writing, estimation, sprint planning, retrospective, and standups.
• Create changes to new and existing code through integrated Peer Review (PR) process.
• Establish working relationship with other teams that support data insights and metrics.
• Participate in team quality practices to ensure long term sustainability and maintainability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable / relevant experience
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: Python, C/C++, C#, or Go.
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Ability to write readable and complete test code at unit through integration levels.
• AWS experience with modern serverless and hybrid patterns
• Belief that infrastructure should be deployed as code.
• Desire to learn and ability to connect with team members to solve technical challenges
• Experience with SAS and PowerShell is a plus
• Experience with PowerBI or similar technology is a plus
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes/Openshift are pluses

Compensation and Benefits

Senior Cyber Data Software Engineer Total Base Pay Range 69,800.00 - 143,100.00 USD Annual
