Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in data protection and information security.
• 2+ years developing data protection strategies, roadmaps and frameworks.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience with two or more data protection technologies.
• Hands-on with tools such as Purview, Cyera, Securiti.ai, Varonis and related capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI security and governance concepts for data protection.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership in a consulting context.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or AWS Security Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and trusted advisor to clients on data protection needs and risks.
• Assist clients in designing, implementing and operating protection solutions.
• Lead engagements, manage timelines and budgets with updates to clients and leadership.
• Mentor and coach junior staff to develop skills and opportunities.
• Manage and lead the proposal development process.
• Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership and market presence.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Stay current on cyber risk, data protection, and emerging tech trends.
