Deloitte Cyber Risk Digital Trust & Privacy practice seeks a Cyber Data Protection Senior Consultant to help leading organizations reduce cyber risk and protect critical data. You will advise on data protection strategy, design and operate protection solutions, and lead engagements with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes mentoring, client communications, and staying ahead of regulatory and technology trends. Travel requirements and sponsorship may apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data protection and information security experience including DCRM/DRM/IRM, DAG, DLP, CASB, DSPM, cloud security and SaaS security.
• 2+ years building data protection strategies, roadmaps and frameworks.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical or architecture-level experience with two or more data protection technologies.
• Experience with senior leadership communications in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Knowledge of AI security and governance concepts and data protection for generative AI.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX or global privacy obligations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients on data protection needs.
• Assist clients in designing, implementing and operating data protection solutions.
• Lead engagements and drive results, manage timelines and budgets.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, provide feedback and growth opportunities.
• Manage proposal development and contribute to thought leadership.
• Foster inclusive, high-performing team environments.
• Stay current on cyber risk, data protection, and emerging tech.
