MSIG USA is seeking a knowledgeable Cyber Claims Counsel to manage high-exposure Cyber claims from initial notice through resolution. The role requires deep expertise in cyber coverage, privacy and data security, and claims handling, with autonomy and visibility to influence outcomes and expand the Cyber claims operation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a sophisticated caseload and make sound claim decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of complex first- and third-party Cyber claims from notice to resolution.
• Analyze policy language, coverage, liability, damages, and litigation risk; establish reserves and provide assessments.
• Draft coverage position letters and other claim-related communications.
• Evaluate and manage high-severity matters including ransomware, BEC, data breaches, and regulatory investigations.
• Develop strategic resolution plans within delegated authority with escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with breach counsel, investigators, and incident-response vendors; partner with cross-functional teams.
• Present complex matters to senior leadership and claim committees.
