Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Cyber Assurance Analyst for Finance in Redmond to lead ITGC testing, SOC 1/2, and SOX-related controls. You will gather evidence, assess risks, and partner with engineers to remediate gaps while ensuring compliance across finance systems.

You will mentor teammates and drive efficiency through automation, data analytics, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment supporting rockets and financial ledgers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity compliance, audit or security roles with knowledge of frameworks.
• Experience with control testing, security policy development, audits, or risk management.
• Ability to explain ITGCs, SOC 1/2 and ISO frameworks to technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support ITGC testing, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOX IT controls and audits.
• Gather, validate, and package evidence for security controls across processes.
• Perform security risk assessments of IT infrastructure and networks.
• Identify gaps in controls and drive remediation with engineers and owners.
• Maintain documentation of controls, risk assessments, and artifacts.
• Improve efficiency via automation, data analytics, and tooling integrations.
• Support third-party risk management for suppliers and onboarding reviews.
• Stay current on SOC 1/2, ITGC, and related frameworks; mentor teammates.
