Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Sr. Cyber Assurance Analyst in Finance to oversee ITGC testing, SOC 1/2 and SOX control activities. You will partner with engineers, review evidence, and drive remediation while aligning with regulatory demands across finance systems.

You will lead documentation, risk assessments, and audit artifacts, mentoring teammates in a fast‑paced environment focused on mission success and compliance excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity compliance, audits or security roles.
• Experience with ITGC, SOC 1/2, risk assessments and controls.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead ITGC, SOC 1/2 and SOX IT control testing and audits.
• Collaborate to collect evidence for security controls and changes.
• Assess security and risk for systems and networks; flag deviations.
• Identify gaps and drive remediation with owners and engineers.
• Document controls, risk assessments and audit artifacts clearly.
• Improve efficiency via data analytics, GRC tooling and automation.
• Support third‑party risk assessments and reviews.
• Stay current on IT risk trends and regulatory guidance.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to their growth.
